My only gripe is that the fried chicken I recieved was room temperature. I still plan on coming back though.David Muliawan2024-01-22I tried many Indonesian restaurants in the area before and hands down this Wayang restaurant offers the best and most authentic Indonesian foods. I just love the wonderful combination of flavors and fragrances from the tropical spices used in the cooking. Additionally, the owner Lily is very friendly and attentive to all guests. She makes sure everybody is satisfied. It's always been a great pleasure dining at this place. Highly highly recommended! You should definitely give it a try.Layla Shaikley2024-01-21Phenomenal. Kwe Tia Goreng noodles were amazing. We got the satay too and loved it. And my husband loved the nasi kuning complit. The noodles are a must have imo. Kind staffVoyage 2 Paradise2024-01-13Authentic Indonesian dish makes me want to come back, all the time! 🥰😍🥰James Williams2024-01-09Wong Java (now Wayang) house is a must for anyone that loves to try Asian cuisines. My best friend Cary helped his friend open the new place. The chicken satay or “sate” Indonesian style is the best in the West!!! We liked it so much we ordered another order “to “go”! Wife and I rate this as the best we’ve ever tried here in Southern Cal. Great job Cary and the ownership team, we’ll be back every Saturday!!!!!!! Everyone needs to try this and spread the word. Thanks James W.Purwati Kusumo2023-12-03We picked up orderSheryn Shahwan2023-12-03I always make an effort to find authentic Indonesian food while in LA. This place is a true gem. The food was heaven on a plate and the service was impeccable. I will definitely come again whenever I’m in LA. I had the Nasi Bungkus as the entree, Gado Gado for the appetizer, and a Durian milkshake. Absolutely delicious.Load more
